How to create and start a job?

Creating the job:
Go to the Cockpit > click or tap on ‘Create Job’. The ‘Create new job’ form will appear. Fill out the form with all the necessary details of the job and click Save. Once the job is created, it will be listed under the ‘New’ jobs.

Requesting couriers:
To add and request the most appropriate couriers to the job based on the distance to the pickup point and other factors:

  1. click or tap on ‘+ Add / Remove Couriers’ button from the job card that was created
  2. Select the couriers by ticking the checkboxes of the OBC cards.
    a. You can check the profile of every courier on the list clicking or tapping on the ‘Profile’ button.
    b. You can also use filters by availability and search for OBCs directly by using the search box at the top of the list as well.
  3. Click on ‘Update Couriers’ at the top.

The Courier will be immediately notified and will have access to the information about the job. It is up to the Courier to either accept or decline the job request. If the Courier accepts, the agency will receive a notification and the OBC’s status on the job will become ‘Pending’.

Make sure to either accept or decline the courier for the given Job. Click Cockpit > See all Jobs > New > Manage Couriers > Pending > Accept / Decline.

Individual chat will be enabled for the OBCs that were requested to do the job. All the OBCs that are involved in the job are available to chat with regardless of their job status. To chat with a Courier, go to See all Jobs > Select the appropriate Job > Manage Couriers > Search for the respective Courier based on their job request status by going through the different tabs > Chat / Withdraw & Decline. Remember that you can only Start the Job after the Courier, and you (the agency) have accepted and confirmed the job assignment.

Here is a summary of the job request statuses (in the order of how they are displayed on the app):

  1. PENDING – these are the OBCs that have accepted the initial job request, waiting for a response from the agency.
  2. REQUESTED – these are the OBCs that have been sent the job request to by the agency, and are pending for accepting or rejecting the offer.
  3. ACCEPTED – these are the OBCs who have been already accepted by the agency to do the job. With this status, both the OBC and agency have agreed to do the job.
  4. DECLINED – these are the OBCs who have declined or have been declined by the agency to do the job. They can still be requested to do the job again, or they can send a request to do the job.
